Rivercity Preschool is located at 45 Campbell Street, Whanganui. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 5:30pm (we are closed on public holidays).
2 year olds – First 30 hours free (terms and conditions apply) and $8 per hour thereafter
3+ year olds – First 30 hours free and $5 per hour thereafter.
Our centre offers the 20 hours subsidy which is provided by the Ministry of Education to all 3 and 4-year-old children, plus an additional 10 hours free. Talk to us for more information.
Work and Income operates a subsidy for parents whose children attend centres. This subsidy is subject to an income qualification. Talk to our Centre Manager for further information and forms.
It is good if parents and children are able to visit the centre prior to attending, to meet staff and orientate themselves with our Centre. We operate an open-door policy, where parents / caregivers and family are welcome into the Centre at any time.
